Building works

Building work is about to start at the Foodbank to reconfigure the building to create a waiting room for users visiting it.  The work is expected to last between 6 to 8 weeks and is expected to be completed during March.

The Foodbank will continue to operate during the work, but temporarily from the Blenkin Memorial Hall across the road from the Foodbank.  Signage will direct people how to access the Foodbank during its temporary relocation.

Once completed, the works will mean that people using the Foodbank will have a more comfortable experience, being able to wait to be seen in a private indoor area, rather than having to queue outside as at present.
