Spring time is here!

7th March 2019

Foodbank News: The foodbank is still quite busy with an average of 10 foodbank voucher referrals each day.

Items we are low on: long life milk, tinned fruit, tinned puddings, fruit squash, tinned meat and tinned fish, sugar.

We could also do with some fresh vegetables and fruit to hand out to our clients on a Tuesday and Thursday. They very rarely get fresh food…

Bread is good if we can get it on either the Monday or Tuesday morning before 11am so that we can hand it out Tuesday lunch time and Thursday lunchtime.

If you are able to spare a few pounds or pence to donate to us, so that we can buy the items we are low on, we would be incredibly grateful. You can drop off your donations to the Stump office or by bringing them into the foodbank on Tuesday and Thursday between 12 and 2pm. We will of course be pledging for specific items to be donated via our social media page and on here, but in the meantime, monetary donations are gratefully received as they can be used to buy bread, milk and other food that we use to make lunches for our clients.

We and the clients are incredibly grateful for your continued support with this charity. It is such a shame that it is still needed in this day and age…

From all at the foodbank, St. Botolph’s Church and St. Mary’s Church 🙂
