22nd December 2018

Well, last year was eventful to say the least and we are hoping that this year will be a more prosperous and happy one for our clients. We were overwhelmed with the kind generosity of our faithful residents of Boston and surrounding areas. Our foodbank warehouse was bulging at the seams. Bob and Malcolm were busier than ever, sorting through, weighing and stocking the shelves. I have tried to thank everyone involved but if I have forgotten you, please do not be offended as many people donated anonymously.

Although we are in a good position at present, it won’t be long before the shelves start emptying and we will need to delve into our limited funds to restock essential items.

If you are able to spare a few pounds or pence to donate to us, so that we can buy the items we are low on, we would be incredibly grateful. You can drop off your donations to the Stump office or by bringing them into the foodbank on Tuesday and Thursday between 12 and 2pm. We will of course be pledging for specific items to be donated via our social media page and on here, but in the meantime, monetary donations are gratefully received as they can be used to buy bread, milk and other food that we use to make lunches for our clients.

Happy New Year everyone

From all at the foodbank, St. Botolph’s Church and St. Mary’s Church 🙂
